Rooted in four generations of couture mastery, the legacy began in 1952, when the family sold a horse to acquire their first sewing machine; marking the birth of a legacy dedicated to precision, structure, and excellence.

The vision behind Basics was born from David González’s own experience.

Frustrated during his youth by clothes that never fit or enhanced his physique, he spent years tailoring every garment with his mother.

Those early adjustments revealed a universal flaw across the industry: fashion brands had stopped understanding the male silhouette.

Determined to change that, David founded Basics to restore the presence of the modern man.

Combining architectural principles, anthropometric research, and visual psychology, he developed PERFECT FIT® TECHNOLOGY—a system of precision, structure, and purpose engineered to honour the masculine form and amplify it.
